What you’ll see

A van day around Siargao with one boat ride. Magpupungko is best at low tide, so the order of stops follows the tide on your date.

  1. Sugba Lagoon

A boat takes you from Del Carmen through the mangroves to a sheltered blue-green lagoon. Swim, float and jump from the wooden platform. The water is calm, so it’s a good stop for families.

  2. Magpupungko Rock Pools

Natural pools in the reef at Pilar that are revealed when the tide goes out. Clear, calm water for swimming between big rock formations.

  3. Secret Beach

A quieter beach stop on the way, for a swim away from the busier spots.

  4. Coconut Mountain View

The viewpoint over Siargao’s endless coconut palms. Private tours also stop on the famous Palm Road for photos.

  5. Maasin River and Bugak Cold Spring (shared tours)

Shared tours add the river at Maasin, known for its leaning coconut palm, and a cold freshwater spring for a quick dip.

Yes, it’s one of the easiest Siargao tours. Sugba Lagoon and the rock pools have calm water, and most of the travel is by van. Children’s rates are quoted on request.

Sugba is closer and part of an easy land tour with several stops. Sohoton is a much longer boat day to Bucas Grande with more lagoons, caves and the seasonal jellyfish. Many visitors with 4 or more days do both.
